LÝSIS

The name LÝSIS is inspired by the biological process in which a cell breaks down — a symbol of the band’s artistic vision: to expose the inner self, break down the destructive, and transform it into strength through music. Their lyrics revolve around inner struggle, vulnerability and personal growth — themes reflected in the band’s intense and emotionally charged sound.

LÝSIS has made a name for themselves as one of Sweden’s most

promising new metal acts, with performances at festivals such as House of Metal and SkogsRÅrocken.

The band has been praised for their explosive energy and commanding stage presence, where every note and emotion is delivered with complete conviction.

SHIVER DOWN

Their sound is a European-style death metal that draws heavily from the legacy of major genre names such as AT THE GATES, DARK TRANQUILLITY, and AMORPHIS, but it is the various nuances of their musical approach that define a unique and original style, capable of moving masterfully from moments of pure ferocity to colder, darker, and more ominous passages.

Founded by Tomas Valentini and Francesco Gambarini, the project also features Federico Dalla Benetta (RIUL DOAMNEI), Al Pia (TWINTERA), and Gabriele Cardilli (ex ROTA TEMPORIS).
